In 30 years...
In between 1981 and 1982, just 30 years ago, the
float switch named Mac 3 was born.
Then, as it is now, and always when we reach the end
of the year, I was overwhelmed with things to do. It
is always like that, it seems that before the end of
the year we have to rush to finish something,
although time is a continuum and important things
start and finish when their time is due. It happened
also for the product that gave its name to Mac 3 as
a company: its main product was designed before
...., almost at the end of 1981 was almost done, but
it saw the light only during the first months of
1982.
In 30 years Mac 3 as a name passed to signify from a
finally well working float switch (before
float switches were not reliable) - one that is
since many years the worldwide market leader- to an
innovative and dynamic company in the accessory
hydraulic pomp market. In 30 years we grow, we moved
plant 5 times - and within a few months we are going
to move again -; we invented many new products, we
became a bigger group of people to work together, we
reached new markets. In 30 years we changed,
although we remained ourselves. In 30 years we have
established commercial and work relations with many
companies and people, who are the true reason for
our efforts. In 30 years we have a lot to thank for,
for the good and the bad days, for success and
problems, and for the desire to make, to
build, that is always with us.
Before the greetings, let me invite you to the Milan
fair, next March. We have new things to show you. I
think you are going to be surprised.
